CaptainSweep Story: The Next Best Step

"The most important question in life is_______?" the teacher asked his students.

"...What is my purpose?" said one student.
"...How can I love unconditionally?" said another.
"...Where is God? " said still another.

The teacher smiled. He was using the question as a pause. He was seeing what the students wo… Continue

For those of you that may not know Nan Goldin is an award-winning American photographer. On Tuesday 09/25/2007 the The BALTIC Center for Contemporary Art in northern England alerted police to Goldin's photo on the eve of an exhibition featuring her work which opened Friday, the paper said. The Daily Telegraph said the picture, which was seized by police, shows two young girls, one sitting with her legs wide apart. It did not say whether the g… Continue

Michael S Congress Passes Resolution Against Move On

Does the GOP remember what this country is all about what it is founded upon? I think they are a party of despotisms there is only one answer there is only one party and even their individual members do not think for their self or act upon the voters wishes but the party agenda. That may strike a cord with people over 30 years old sounds a lot like what we used to fight against.

So the real issue here is not the message or…

Michael S Free Speech Now Days

When I watched this video it really outraged me. I had not seen such bold police violation of civil rights since the 1960's and early 70's. While I tend to lean center to the left I am also outraged at John Kerry who stood there like a spineless jackass and did not tell the police to back off. He who almost made president clearly has no fundamental appreciation of our Constitution. And I doubt many in office understand the Constitution they think they stars and fact is they…

CaptainSweep Story: The Complaint Department

There was a man who loved to hear complaints. He loved to hear how people did not receive what they wanted. In all his jobs he was in charge of handling complaints which he would do with a happy smile. He volunteered for non-profits and always took the role of listening to the complaints of anyone who had any.

CaptainSweep Story: In That One Moment

In one moment there was a human being that decided to end their imprisonment. In that one moment all limiting beliefs about who they were and what they were capable of dissolved.

A sense of power that was felt in the heart emerged and all of the shackles that were actually illusions disappeared.

A lightness occurred and a cla… Continue

CaptainSweep Story: The Practice of 8 Keys (Part 1)

Once upon a time in a place no one can remember a man lay in a prison. This prison was a dark and dreary place like most prisons where people are kept away from things that promote life. They are there for either a reason that is real, for a crime that is unforgivable by a society unable to forgive, or because a corrupt system has to punish those… Continue

CaptainSweep My Answer to My Question

Last night I was meditating on and off all night. I believe it was the full moon so I try to be more in that frame of mind. I became in a place where I was really distinguishing between Unity and Separation. It was as if all my work with the Inflow Matrix was a separation because I was looking at dividing into language categories.

CaptainSweep I AM Willing to Give up Craziness for Credibility

In the background Mozart's requiem plays. It evokes something deep inside...a sadness...as there is forever a looming wonderment as to what I should do. What we should we all do. CaptainSweep My Reflections on the Day

It’s late and I am sleepy and fell asleep listening to Martin Luther King speeches which I have been doing lately, along with Malcolm X.

I am humbled to a great degree hearing these great expressions of brilliance. One day I would like to be able to express some of things that are deep within me in a way that is so moving. I find when I speak in public that there is still hesitancy about truly speaking with my heart with …

Michael S Joan Baez Banned at Walter Reed Hospital

As reported today by the Associated Press folk singer Joan Baez was banned from Walter Reed Hospital after accepting a request by John Mellencamp to appear with him in a free concert for returning vets recovering at Walter Reed.

This is yet another example of the right wing clamp down on the arts. Time and time again they want to make sure some left wing people are excluded from supporting vets. She was trying to correct a wrong from the 60's and 70's and the DOD wants to continue the m… Continue

Michael S Time Spent

Well in the last month or so I have managed on top of my day job to at least get the site up a going looking somewhat like I had in mind. Time spent using the controls and editing functions of the site and making what progress I could as one person dealing with real life stuff and keeping up with the issues of the Real ID act take a toll upon me. I prefer real life to out here but it is out here things can change.

Michael S No Protection

Just another idea in rough (see latest video) I've had on how much a joke Real ID is. Source files can be had by asking and as far as I know my only cut meets far use at under 30 seconds. It needs better time line editing, sound track or narration but at least it's a rough cut.

Michael S Retro Male

The intent of this site is to open source art. There is not any art that is not influenced by other art from the first time one person in a cave placed their hand on a cave wall and thought to blow paint usually reserved for tribal markings on to the cave wall leaving only a hand print. Without Art minus other examples communities could not draw together for the simple pleasure of a smile, a tear an emotion to enjoy life. Tribal leaders took notice commissioned works g…
