About Me:: My name is Kevin Joiner. I'm a multi-media artist/performer focusing on solo and collaborative projects, primarily combining music with literature, graphic art, and/or film/video content. At the behest of HopeSudan, I'm currently developing a CD/Live Event as a collaborative effort between American and Sudanese artists living in Nashville. Proceeds will go to the Nashville-based HopeSudan organization, aiding their efforts in providing non-religious mission trips (medical, educational, reconstructive, etc.) to the Sudan and to develop of strong community leadership at the local, regional, and national levels. In doing so, the organization aims at helping the Sudanese people rebuild their country, devastated by more than two decades of civil war between the north and the south, currently highlighted by the conflict and genocide in the Darfur region.
